With the Mountain View City Council election approaching, Great Streets Mountain View (GSMV) asked all candidates to respond to questions focused on GSMV’s mission and priorities: creating people-friendly streets that are safe and accessible to all, and incorporating beautiful, functional public spaces into our streets.
We received responses from Samuel Ali, Robert Cox, Paul Donahue, James Kuszmaul, Silja Paymer, and IdaRose Sylvester, and have published their responses in full.
We hope these responses help residents understand each candidate’s perspectives and approach on active transportation, street safety, and public placemaking—issues central to GSMV’s mission.
